Product Description Cook bacon to perfection in your microwave with the Bacon Wave. With the Bacon Wave, you can cook healthier bacon that still has that frying pan taste. And perhaps most importantly, you'll be cooking your bacon above the fat, not in it! As seen on TV, this unique kitchen product is simply a smart purchase. The Bacon Wave cooks bacon faster than the traditional method, creates less of a mess, and produces bacon that is not ridden with excess oil and fat. And after all is said and done your guests will never notice a difference in taste. The bacon wave cooks bacon so well in the microwave, that there's no telling it wasn't cooked in the frying pan. Only you will know. The bacon wave makes healthier bacon. The meat cooks above the fat, not in it. Less fat and less grease equals better health for you. The bacon wave is specially designed to trap the grease, so that it doesn't make a mess inside of the microwave.

The best cooker I've used so far May 6, 2008 Kathy A. Ridenour 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I like this cooker, however, you have to fidget with the cook times and positioning of the bacon for it to work well. I cook a lot of bacon every so often for job breakfast potlucks. It advertises that you can cook 14 pieces at a time. I find that cooking 14 slices takes twice as long as the instructions indicate and the slices are so close together that they tend to stick together as they cook. I like crispy bacon so instead of 14 minutes, I had to cook the bacon for at least 20-25 minutes to get the bacon crispy. I finally decided to cut back and I only put 7-8 slices in the cooker with a space between each slice to cut down on the sticking together. So, now I cook the bacon for about 13 minutes and it seems to work really well.
Waste of Money=Bacon Wave! April 6, 2008 T. Fowler (Utah) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The Bacon Wave melted the first time we used it--into a glob of plastic and bacon. We weren't really aiming for bacon covered in a nice coating of plastic for breakfast. It all had to be thrown out. Not sure how this product made it to the marketplace--poor quality control or insufficient testing! Who knows! Don't waste your money; we already wasted ours on this defective item. This review didn't allow me to give no stars or minus stars, or I would have. The Bacon Wave was a Bacon Waste!
Baconwave Review February 14, 2008 B. Castellana 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I used a similar product for microwaving bacon in the past. However, this is by far the best I have ever used. I followed the instructions and the baconwave is excellent. I would recommend it to anyone who wishes to cook bacon quickly and easily. It is also a healthier approach since the grease is released to the bottom of the baconwave. The best part is being able to remove the bacon with the skewers. Try it - you won't be sorry!
Hard to clean February 3, 2008 Effie (New England) This product works very well for making bacon, however, it's extremely hard to clean if you don't own a dishwasher. I much prefer the brands that come apart for cleaning.
Crispy Bacon! December 12, 2007 R. Rodriquez Jr. (Dallas TX) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I ordered this as a replacement. I broke my first one during a move years ago and had gone thru several other crispers with disappointing results. This is by far the easiest and cleanest crisper I've come across... I highly recommend it.
