Product Description
With the One Touch can opener, opening a can has never been easier. Just place the One Touch on the top of the can, press the button, and the cordless opener automatically travels around can. It opens in seconds, and because the One Touch can opener cuts from the side, there are no sharp edges to cut your fingers on. Magnet keeps dirty lid from dropping in. 2 "AA" batteries required (not included).

1 out of 5 stars Quit without warning!   September 29, 2008

This worked fine and gave no inkling that the batteries needed to be changed until it quit while clamped onto a can. No matter how I tried I could not get it to release. So I had to toss the whole thing, can and all.

I was so frustrated! I would have changed the batteries had I known this would happen, but it worked fine and gave me no warning. Maybe a low battery light would help?

This is one of those invention that come along that is better. If you have any hand diseases you can still open cans. You just set it on top and push the button and the opener does the rest. Thank You, C.S.

1 out of 5 stars Worthless   September 7, 2008

I have yet to see this thing open one can without human aid. Usually dies half-way through one lid and requires human power to muscle through to an open can. Jammed lids are a nightmare to clear. Don't even think about buying one of these.

4 out of 5 stars My first electric can opener   September 4, 2008

We had always used handheld can openers. My wife had a gift card for Linen and Things so we picked one of these up. It worked well until I gave it a tuna can to eat. I couldn't get the high lid off and I was forced to throw it away. I picked up a Hamilton beach from WalMart to replace this one. The Hamilton Beach was so low on the evolutionary ladder compared to what I just threw away. We switched back to the old handheld until we got yet another gift card (this time for Amazon) and we both agreed we need a cool can opener. I think I have to buy this one again, because it's the devil I know.

5 out of 5 stars Greatest thing on the planet!   September 2, 2008

I love this can opener. My friends have made fun of me for years because I kept using hand can openers instead of electric ones. I just found the electrics to be so hard to use with such inconsistent results depending on the can size. So, I was visiting a friend who had a One Touch Can Opener and I fell in love. I've been using mine for about six months and have had to change the batteries once and had to reset it once. I've bought several for friends. The only trouble I had with it at all was when I thought it was finished so I tried to remove it before the motor stopped. Once I figured out to leave it alone until it shut off by itself I found it to be perfect. Great invention!
