Product Description The correct EST (Eastern Standard Time) has been preset at the factory, so just plug the clock in and adjust the time zone as necessary. In the case of a power interruption, the built-in Lithium battery maintains the correct time so you don't have to re-set the clock. When Daylight Savings Time changes take place in the spring and fall each year, there is no need to adjust the clock because the built-in calendar recognizes the dates and automatically makes the proper time adjustments. Choose your own snooze time instead of being held captive by the short time intervals of other snooze times. Each press of the snooze button adds an additional 10 minutes to your total snooze time for up to a full hour of uninterrupted sleep. Sony's cheapest clock radio July 2, 2008 CC Hagenbuch Jr. (Rochester, MI, USA) When you buy a clock-radio for less than $15, you should not have high expectations. I bought mine to fill a small space on my night stand. We are getting to the place where our only non-automatic-time clocks are found in major appliances. I wish our GE microwave oven were automatic! This Sony fills the space available very well. Pluses are it's good looks, large led readout, and good FM radio reception. If I wanted AM radio I'd be forced to return it. There are no AM stations strong enough or close enough to make it but I could care less!
Good deal and a good clock radio. Happy with purchase. June 19, 2008 Dennis Stone (Maine, USA) Great price for this clock radio. Works good, clock is easy to see, sound is pretty good. Battery back up so it keeps the time in a black out.
GREAT, COMPACT CLOCK RADIO! June 6, 2008 C. Lamm (Santa Monica, USA) Easy clock setup - automatically on correct time! Amazing technology, IMHO. Definitely buy this cute little clock radio. It's perfect!

Sony ICF-C218 Automatic Time Set Clock Radio (Black)The one I received is totally useless. will not set time automaticall or manually in any zone.
Nice Product June 3, 2008 mom2boys (Columbia City, Indiana United States) This is just what I wanted. The numbers are large and easy to read. I figured out how it worked without reading the manual. The buzzer is very nice. It is just beeping, not startling. It starts out slow and gets faster and faster the longer you leave it go. I have not used the radio on it yet so I cant review that part but I like everything else about it.
