Microwave with no view of your food! May 5, 2008 Laura Hine (Near Chicago) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Microwave works fine (don't they all?) but hate that you can't see your food inside because of the weird stripes across the door. Totally unnecessary and frustrating. Plus the quick minute requires you to also press start. A little thing, but also annoying. Wish I'd seen the microwave in person before ordering!
So far so good April 25, 2008 R. Hutchinson 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I've only been using this new microwave for a month now, so I can't speak to how long it will last, but so far I love it. It looks great, is easy to use, and cooks better than my old one. The manual is easy to follow, but I really haven't looked at it much because the design is so intuitive. And it makes great popcorn - few unpopped kernels and no scorching. Great performance - especially for the price.
Here's my Problem... April 24, 2008 Don I. (Las Vegas) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
...The unit is nice, but it has buttons for Breakfast, Lunch, Snack, Side Dish, Dinner but there are absolutely no instructions on how to use them. The manual had no info. Called CS and spoke to a gentleman who had absolutely no idea how to use the buttons. No help at all. I called back and got another rep who said you need to press Breakfast one time for oatmeal - 2 times for beverage - Press Dinner 8 times for a baked potatoe....WHAT!!!! OK so I'm just not going to be able to use those buttons. PERIOD! But it does have some nice features. Such as the keep warm button - just put the plate in the microwave, push the "Keep Warm" button and it gives a bust of power every now and again to keep the food warm. Nice for the kids that can't seem to get home in time for supper. It has an "Inverter Turbo Defrost" - put your item in - click how many pounds and that's it. Worked well in defrosting a pound of frozen fish. It actually came out thawed but not cooked, not even on the edges. Over all a nice system, and I got it for $69 as a Gold Box sale!
Great microvawe owen! April 15, 2008 Walter Taffarello (Weehawken New Jersey) 9 out of 21 found this review helpful
The Inverter technology is the best, and Panasonic is the only one with this amazing feature. Don't buy anything without Inverter! Bravo Panasonic!
