This food cover is amazing! First, its vented design and ample height help food to cook more evenly in the microwave than plastic wrap or a paper towel. Second, it's much more eco-friendly than any sort of disposable wrap. Third, the collapsible feature makes it take up very little space - I keep it between my microwave and the wall. I've had no problems at all with opening and closing.

This is a great cover. It has vent holes around the edge of the top which are completely separate from the finger *indentations*, which protects your fingers from being burned. It is sturdy, has gone throught the dishwasher many times with no problem, and bright colored-- I haven't had to search for it like our old white one. It is just the right size: wide enough for a dinner plate, but tall enough for a heaped bowl. I like the collapsible feature, but note that there is a little trick to popping it out; you have to push at a certain distance from the edge, then it pops easily. We are very satisfied!

I ordered the collapsible cover on the strength of one of the positive reviews. There is no problem opening or collapsing the cover. it's great and much better than plastic wrap

Helps prevent splatters and, because it is vented, it does not steam your food. I marked it down one star only because it is a bit stiff for arthritic fingers.
