4 out of 5 stars Works well...but   November 25, 2008
J. Finlay (Vermont)
This made good yogurt...but packaging and expense make it wasteful. You can use your previous batch of your own yogurt or buy a small amount of a commercial yogurt for a starter. I use Greek yogurt and then my own for a starter...less cost and less wasteful packaging.

Works well! I use this as a starter every once in a while and then use a bit of the fresh yoghurt for the next batch. A bit sour taste that can be helped with ~2 tea spoons of sugar to help the fermentation process.

I tried several different cultures to make yogurt, this is the best one. Its price is right too with free delivery.

It has a nice flavor (not to tart), easy to use and a good price.

5 out of 5 stars Works every time   June 28, 2008

No runny yogurt with this mix. Used it with skim milk and it has a good taste. Will order again.
