Perfect for those that love bakery breads! February 11, 2008 kochanyk This toaster is so perfect! I could not be happier. As someone who prefers self-cut and bakery breads versus the puffy white stuff, this toaster is ideal. There is a dial to set toasting to perfection, and even a button for frozen bread (which is great for those, like me, who often keep their bread in the freezer). It also toasts bagels, English muffins (even the nice big thick ones!) and toaster pastries with ease and to perfection. A great buy at a good price for value. We've had this toaster over 2 years and no complaints!
Appearance is deceiving August 16, 2007 dweezil (Media, PA United States) It has a sleek, modern look, and handles 4 slices of toast, bagels or english muffins, but that's all I can say good about this toaster. I bought it expecting high-tech results, or at least evenly toasted bread, and a warming setting to keep it from drying out while I finished making breakfast. Instead I get bread close to burned at the bottom and untoasted at the top, and the warming setting is useless. The directions say only "press the warm button" which makes it light up but doesn't keep anything warm after toasting. I can't return it without the box so I'm stuck with a $40 mistake. I regret not checking the Amazon reviews before I made this purchase.

We received this toaster as an engagement gift. This morning it stopped working two months after the warranty expired.
Pretty good looking, but pretty quick to die November 22, 2006 J. Oldenburg (Seattle, WA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Died two months out of the one year warrenty. Oster offered "replacement" pricing $25 including shipping, but I don't think we are interested. cheers.

This toaster takes forever to toast, and when the toast is finished it is dried and crunchy. I tried all the different settings and nothing works to prevent this. The outside of this toaster gets extremely HOT, so caution is advised when using it!! The feature that lifts the bagel or muffin for easey removal is a joke, I have burned my fingers numerous times. My advice is to purchase a DIFFERENT brand toaster!!
