Buttons broke after 3 1/2 months July 25, 2008 Richard Ringeisen (MD USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I purchased this toaster based on reviews I read on amazon.com. The toaster seemed to be a good bargain for the price. Upon use, the toaster seemed to be decent quality. I never used the buttons much, except to cancel a toasting and to toast only one side (Bagel button). A few days ago, toasting could not be cancelled with the cancel button. I was left with finding creative ways to cancel toasting; unplugging the power, or trying to bounce the lever to unlock it. Adjusting the dial to a lower setting worked, though it was not immediate. I called Oster, and they will be replacing the toaster (Nice of them), though with a slightly less costly model since they do not have any of this model in stock. I never used all the buttons that often, so I'm not going to complain to them about receiving a replacement toaster that is a different model and is a few dolalrs cheaper. This toaster is nice while it performs. Though after the buttons refuse to work, you're stuck with only the toast option, and you can no longer cancel the toasting the easy way. Don't be surprised if this breaks within the warranty period. *edited to add; this toaster was used at least once a day, sometimes two or three times.
Good toaster! June 9, 2008 Claressa (Dallas, TX USA) While I don't use a toaster every day, this one is perfect for what I need and it looks nice on my counter. I agree with a previous reviewer that it may not necessarily hold up over time in terms of the way it is made but I'm happy with it overall.

toaster is very easy to use and gives uniform color to toast bagels and waffles. one of the better toasters that we have purchased
Best toaster for the $$ May 18, 2008 Mike (Chicago) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The Oster 6335 Counterforms 2 Slice Toaster has all the features one could ever ask for on a toaster and toasts very well. It has preset settings for Toast, Bagel, Pastry, Waffle, Frozen and Warm. The slot openings are 1-1/4" by 5-1/2", slightly wider and longer than the old toasters. It has a Cancel button conveniently located apart from the other buttons. Oster adds a nice touch with all buttons backlit in blue. The outside finish (Oster calls Luminart) is made of a plastic composite resembling stainless steel with a rippled water effect in the reflection which doesn't show finger prints and the top is made of plastic, cool to the touch non-stick surface. The design is out of this world which reminds me of an oversized hour-glass; you either love it or hate it. The 6335 comes with a crumb tray located at the rear; Oster would have done better designing the tray at the front. The Toast lift handle feels a bit flimsy but has a nice feature by locking at the top to elevate small items, like English muffins. Another nice feature is the single side bagel toasting with curved self-centering guides. Toasting is not always even on both sides and the adjustable browning settings are sensitive and will take you some trials and errors to find the right personal settings. The Oster 6335 is reasonably priced and deserves a 5 star rating.
The toaster has a mind of its own! May 13, 2008 S. Velton (Calif., USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought this toaster in February and since then, some days we have toast, some days we don't. Some days the buttons work, some days they don't. You get the idea.
