5 out of 5 stars Awesome food processor   March 7, 2008

I just bought this food processor and LOVE IT!!! It's quiet - which is great in condos and apartments with shared walls; well made - weighs a ton but won't shift when it's on; stylish - love the pink color; works great - lots of attachments; easy to use and clean - for those of us less technologically advanced. Great investment and well worth the money. It definitely makes me want to cook more.

Purchased as a gift and at least once a week, my daughter says how much
she loves this Processor, we both use only Kitchenaid and have all their
products......Very worth buying.

I also replaced a Hamilton Beach dual processor/blender with this appliance, and I am so glad I did. It's quite a bit larger and definately heavier than my old processor, but it is well worth the investment. There are a number of attachments in a seperate case that cover almost anything you could want to do.

There is also a smaller work bowl that is very nice and fits well inside the larger bowl. This machine is very efficient... and the pink colour is fabulous! It goes with all of my other pink Kitchenaid appliances so well. :)

I hesitated for a long time before taking the plunge, but I'm so glad I did! Also, there is currently a promotion going on where you can get a set of 3 cutting boards free just for buying the processor, so that's a nice bonus too!

I have a food processor/blender combo made by Hamilton Beach. I loved it for making smoothies but the machine was so loud and it was so confusing to switch between the two attachments that I eventually stopped using it. I purchased the 12-cup food processor in Pink and have loved it ever since it arrived. Let me just say that this machine is much larger than the Hamilton Beach I already have, but it is surprisingly quiet. I almost thought something was wrong with it the first time I used it, but it worked just fine. For the noise level alone, this is a much better appliance.

That being said, this machine is a lot more expensive than some other brands, but it is well worth the price. This model of KitchenAid comes with a lot of attachments and a small storage case. It is much easier to put together and very solidly built. I would recommend this appliance to anyone who might be considering it.
