Good Quality Blender October 6, 2008 --chris (New Jersey) Overall very pleased with new blender. Got a great deal as it was a Gold Box Special. Pros: 1. Completely dishwasher safe. 2. No need to "lock" pitcher in place. 3. Nice capacity Cons: 1. Limited number of speeds (but who realy uses 12 different speeds anyway)
Best of the blenders that I have tried October 6, 2008 S. R. Berg (St George, UT) We love this blender. It has a heavy plastic container so no chipping in the sink. The shape of the container forces the contents to move as the blades are going resulting in a great smoothie.
awesome October 5, 2008 H. rosado (ky) got this product last month. i am in love with it. i was looking for one like this and the price was great. i recomend this to any one. i like the size of the blender and the ice crush button i like it is great.
Finally, a blender that works as advertised October 3, 2008 B. Hagadorn My teenagers like making smoothies and shakes and have managed to burn out 4 blenders in as many years doing so. The blenders just could not handle the ice as well as they claimed. This KitchenAid is an exception: it powers through just about anything without any trouble at all. Highly recommended.
Very good blender but I wouldn't follow dishwasher instructions. October 3, 2008 Maggie (South Carolina) I am really happy with the solid construction and working of this blender and would purchase it again if given the choice. I would not, however, believe the dishwasher safe instructions. It may be "safe" to put the lid on the top rack but now mine is warped and took on a redish color from some spaghetti sauce it was in with. We are now hand washing to whole thing.
