great pressure cooker January 18, 2008 S. Daffron (Chattanooga, Tn USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I would highly recommend this pressure cooker to anyone who is in the market to buy one. Amazon had the best price, and as always the service was great.
Great Pressure Cooker September 13, 2007 Ms. S. Thomas (Florida USA) I have been using pressure cookers for over 35 years. The pressure cookers I have used were hand-me-downs from my parents & I never purchased my own, until now. I have needed a larger pressure cooker & did alot of looking & comparing before deciding on Chef's Design 8-1/2L SS dual function. This is a quality cooker & definitely an invaluable piece of cookware for any kitchen. Excellent design & easy to use. I hope will last me the rest of my cooking years.
it leaks! November 20, 2006 H. Zhang (michigan) 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
I purchased this cooker because of its cheap price and it is made of stainless steel. I tried it right after I bought it and it turns out to leak vapour. So I returned it to amazon.
Stainless Steel Pressure Cooker November 10, 2006 S. NARAYANAN (Fairfax, VA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Great price and excellent cooker. A very good buy. A stainless steel cooker for the price of aluminum cooker in other stores! Thanks Amazon!
Things you need to know November 6, 2006 Lynn Hoffman, author:The New Short Course in Wine 14 out of 15 found this review helpful
This is a simply great kitchen utensil: It's made from stainless steel which is easy to keep clean and which has none of the corrosion problems that plague aluminum. The price is right. You can pay a lot for a fancy Swiss model-four times as much in fact and in this case, you don't get what you pay for. It will add a dimension to your cooking. Dishes that used to take all day can be cooked in an hour or two and homemade stocks and soups will return to your table. All of the safety problems that used to come with pressure cookers have been solved and there's no reason to deny you and your family all that good food. Lynn Hoffman, author of The New Short Course in Wine and the forthcoming novel, bang-BANG from Kunati press. (ISBN 1601640005)
