I love this mixer. The beaters work so well, come out virtually clean, and are so easy to wash (I don't have a dishwasher). The motor seems nice and strong. It's really up to the task of handling heavy batters (pound cake). I think it'll handle cheese cake well, too. The motor didn't strain at all. I had no problem with the batter flying out, as one reviewer did. I think you can't go wrong with this great mixer. Another nice thing is since the beaters don't retain the batter, when you need to place the mixer on its heel while you go get another ingrediant, it won't tip over. It maintains its balance very well, and feels good in your hand, too, ergonomically. Very well designed and easy to clean. Must have been designed by a woman!

I do quite a bit of baking & when I don't use my standard size mixer I need a hand mixer that is reliable and can do even the heavier tasks without groaning or wimping out, and I have found these qualities in this mixer. The power is just what I need and the newer design beaters- without the center post- mixes well & cleans easily. The price is reasonable as well. I would recommend ths mixer without hesitation.

I read the reviews and agree that it does go a bit fast so you have to watch out for flying batter. It did however make quick work of egg whites, much better than my previous Sunbeam powerburst mixer. Very clean simple setup and I love the reusable clip to keep the cord neat in my drawer.

I needed a new handmixer and after research and reading other reviews, I agree this is a good machine at a reasonable price. Has lots of power and I love the design of the mixer blades compared to my OLD hand mixer. The food doesn't get all stuck in there, and SOOO easy to clean too. Not complicated to use and works great. Have used it from eggs to cookie dough and works great. I would highly recommend this hand mixer for the chef or ordinary homemaker. It is very well made and seems to have a heavy duty motor. Plus it was a bargain price on amazon!
