Hamilton Beach 62696R March 3, 2008 Do Do (USA) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
the hand mixer works fine. if the instruction could explain more all the equipments' function, that will be better. and I do not know how the hand mixer stand on the bowel. thank you.
Powerful Little Mixer February 18, 2008 R. Plasha (WA United States) I recieved this mixer as a housewarming gift. It's very nice, with a convient case that stores the beaters and cord, then slips right onto the mixer. There is a lot of power in this mixer, and I'm not sure how well it would work for delicate mixtures as the first setting kicks as hard as the second. But for my needs it works extremely well. I just wish it came in black.
Recently Purchased Hamilton Beach Hand Mixer February 17, 2008 A. J. Carabis The Hamilton Beach hand mixer recently purchased was a most pleasant surprise - from packaging to product. It was purchased to replace an "ancient" hand mixer that literally went "up in smoke" when I attempted to beat a very thick batter for cookies. The new mixer was literally made to overcome any difficulties encountered in mixing all types of batters! I immediately mixed the impossible cookie batter without a problem - following specific instructions. Another plus is the ingenious storage for the beaters! I felt the mixer is worth much, much more than its price tag.
Nice for the price January 12, 2008 Athene Five (USA) This is a nice, economically-priced hand-held mixer. I have a stand mixer that I use for large quantities or stiff batters, and an immersion blender, but sometimes you just need a mixer that you can use at the stove or counter for a light mixing job, when you have a lot of dishes going at the same time or to take with you someplace. This performs very well and a nice feature is the self-storage for the beaters and whisks. The only problem I have had is getting the attachments into position. It sometimes takes more than one try to secure them. Otherwise, it does exactly what I need.
Good value for $20. Whisk attachment is a big plus. December 20, 2007 P. Kim (IL) I got this mainly because it came with whisk attachment. This mixer has good speed, and with the whisk attachment, it does a bang up job making whipped cream even when I don't pre-chill the bowl and whisk(do pre-chill though for stiff peak). I use this for small jobs when I don't feel like bringing out my stand mixer. I find it to be a useful complement to the stand mixer.
