Braun MultiQuick Hand Blender December 2, 2007 Deirdre Wimmer 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I am trying to cut down on appliances in kitchen and have found the Braun MultiQuick Hand Blender 'handy' for every-day cooking projects from making salad dressings, including fresh mayonaise, to beating egg whites or whipping cream. The immersible blender feature is especially handy for pureeing soups in the pot. I have used other brands that weren't sealed or fitted as well around the blades, where food would be sucked up into the housing of the blender.

Great item for the kitchen. Works very well, just wish I could use it for large amounts of food like beating potatoes for holiday dinners. (We usually have 14 or more at the table)
Excellent Quality Stick Blender - Highly Recommended December 1, 2007 James Minich (BELVIDERE, NJ United States) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This blender whips up a smoothy in no time at all. It's very powerful and easy to use. All parts are excellent quality. I highly recommend.

Great design with power. Bulky but it works great so far. I bought for my 5 months old baby food.
One powerful blender! November 29, 2007 K. Robertson (southern Virginia) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I was looking for something more powerful than the weak & pitiful as-seen-on-tv drink blender that I was using for protein drinks in the morning. This Braun handblender is exactly what I was looking for. This morning I made a protein drink with banana and yogurt, and all of it was blended in seconds, even down to the sometimes hard-to-mix protein powder. This thing is really powerful, and is a little startling because of this at 1st when you're blending in the plastic cylinder that comes with it. If you get it too close to the bottom, it "sucks up" the cylinder so you have to hold onto it. It's not necessary to get it that close to the bottom to blend your drink well, I found out! I haven't used it for frozen berries, but I anticpate that it will do well. And I haven't used the whisk yet, but I plan to for scrambled eggs--the cylinder that comes with it is the perfect size for whisking up eggs. I can't wait to use it for other things, and for nice, cold milkshakes next summer!
