Carefull with the motor April 22, 2008 C. Jen 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is gonna be my third Braun hand blender. All two previous was broken by overpower works....one damaged by a whole potato. And something hard this time...anyhow it just stop working. I like it very well. Come with a set of blender and mixer two container. But it is really just for some small and soft food, not a real blender.
Great Blender April 21, 2008 Maureen Abel (BRADLEY, NJ USA) Best buy in a long time. Great item. Priceis right. Makes the best whipped cream in no time. Creams soup in a flash. Easy clean up. Lots of extras.I can't say enough good things about it.

Burns up after 4 uses - 12 weeks for refund from Proctor & Gambell April 17, 2008 D. Cole (Anchorage, AK) I purchased this item for Christmas, it took the giftee a few months to admit it had quit working after 3 uses.. I call amazon, then sent Braun for return, friendly customer service informs me they will ship label for returning item..says it will take 2 weeks for label and 6-10 weeks for refund check.. so 3 months from return, I might have money without another phone call.. what are the odds i will not be hounding them for the rufund check?. I had researched this item and decided to chance it, as the previous one had worked for years..new item made badly! think again!
Great Multi-Tasking Kitchen Appliance for those on a Budget April 11, 2008 S. Galiza (NYC) As an avid at home cook who can't afford a Kitchen Aid Mixer and Food Processor nor have the room for them, this has helped me get by...this along with some elbow grease of course. Considering the size, it's pretty powerful, but not powerful enough for breads and cookie dough. I do those by hand as the motor isn't strong enough and the fairly thin whisk doesn't stand a chance. If you're considering buying a hand blender, I recommend buying this one, as you'll find the attachments quite useful. I love the whisk and chopping attachments!!! I actually landed up using those attachment more often than the hand blender...Fresh whipped cream for my pancakes in a flash! I LOVE this thing for tons of reasons, so I'll instead list the things I found it CAN'T do... -Grind small seeds like flax seed -Mix cookie or bread doughs (whisk is not strong/solid enough) -Chop Ice (it can handle frozen berries for smoothies, but not ice...the ice lands up in chunks) Things I regularly use it for... salad dressings, mincing garlic, smoothies, puree whole tomatoes, grate Parmesano Regiano, make bread/cracker crumbs, egg salad, whipped cream, most cake batters, grind woody herbs like rosemary, make fresh peanut butter, puree soups, etc.
