 Makes good coffee BUT there are problems June 29, 2007

We purchased this for our workplace. Makes a nice cup of hot coffee - BUT we purchased it in December 2005 and we are on our third machine. It started leaking water from the bottom after about 9 months. They replaced it and once again the machine started leaking. They replaced it but it took two calls and 3 weeks to get one. They ship it ground and I think it should be priority mail since it is their problem. I just can't understand why this problem continues with this model. I would have given it 5 stars but I can't due to the agravation we have had with it.

Being an occasional coffee drinker, I could never justify a standard coffee maker. But once the "pod" brewers became available, my interest was piqued.
After reading the reviews for the Bunn MyCafe brewer, the overwhelming majority of which were positive, I decided to purchase one. More than a year later, I am extremely happy with my choice.
As the old saying goes, "you get what you pay for." And the Bunn MyCafe certainly is the best there is. It heats water quickly when woken up from "sleep," and provides instant brewing when it is in the "ready" state.
If you want the best pod brewer there is, buy it. You will not be disappointed!

I have never used a coffee machine before so I can't compare the Bunn to anything else but I am completely satisfied with my machine. This machine can use regular tea bags so it is very economical, compared to a machine that uses cups. The tea is very good, is available in less than a minute, and the cup size selector is absolutely accurate. The many reviews I read convinced me that this was the best machine to buy, and I am writing this review as a way of showing my appreciation.

I have to say that I was really surprised at how great a coffee maker the Bunn My Cafe was. It arrived very fast from the seller in excellent packaging. After setting up the coffee maker, it has been wonderful. Because it was a refurbished unit I got a great price. As a matter of fact, the only drawback is the price. However, this is the only single brewer that also makes excellent tea.
