5 out of 5 stars The perfect way to brew a single cup   August 20, 2008
S. Watkins (Fairbanks, AK USA)
Short and sweet: this is the absolute best way to brew coffee one cup at a time, hands down. The variety of coffee, tea, and hot chocolate available for the Keurig is mind-boggling. Something for everybody. But on the off chance nothing suits your taste, you can purchase (about $15) a reusable filter to make your own brew.

5 out of 5 stars Keurig B60 Coffee Brewer   August 15, 2008
C. T. Gill (Black Mountain, NC USA)
We love this coffee brewer! Took a little while to figure out cup sizes and brew strength, but once we crossed that bridge we brew like old pros. The convenience of one-cup brewing is great. Now, instead of tossing out old, burnt coffee and brewing a fresh pot, or discarding leftovers, we only brew what we drink...and it's always fresh!

We have used large mugs for coffee for many years. This system uses a more standard size cup for reference, so our initial cups of coffee were less than what we were accustomed to. However, we pressed on to find a balance we could live with.

We also like our coffee strong, so we had to find the best fit for our tastes. To that end, we use Green Mountain Dark Magic and Green Mountain French Roast set on the large cup size. These two blends deliver a great cup of coffee in either regular or decaf.

We heartily recommend this product. If you like good coffee with lots of variety, the Keurig system is for you.

5 out of 5 stars I LOVE IT!   August 14, 2008
R. Matt (Philly)
Great coffee machine!!! I hated my 10 cup coffee maker because we always wasted half of the pot. In the morning I can get a cup of coffee without having to wait! The noise is not as bad as others make it out to be and the coffee is way strong enough (unless you like to drink gasoline). If you are debating this purchase go out and buy one... you won't regret it :)

4 out of 5 stars Works well, but do research before you buy   August 14, 2008

This machine is perfect if you don't mind the expense and don't require strong coffee. It has been working flawlessly for me for several months now. I have used many of the K cups, but have more recently been using the reusable filter to save on money. Using K cups you will spend around $400 per year on coffee if you drink two cups/day. Because the water passes through the coffee very quickly, it is impossible to get it very strong the way some people like. Still, I buy the strongest coffee available, to make what some consider a weak/moderate coffee (fine for my tastes). Had I done my research before buying this, I may have opted for a french press instead (which I didn't even know about at the time).

1 out of 5 stars weak costly coffee   August 7, 2008

I am a coffee nut. I see all these glowing reviews and wonder, have you ever had good coffee? This thing makes one expensive and small, weak cup of not very good coffee. And what about the little time bomb it leaves behind to decompose for the next 1,000 years in a land fill? Cuisinart makes a nice small one cup brewer which actually makes decent coffee at 1/2 the price. Buy local, buy good coffee and find out how good fresh coffee can be. This is a bogus toy for lazy people.
