2 out of 5 stars Not worth keeping   May 22, 2008

I was excited to receive the grill so I could change my cooking methods and try to eat a healthier diet. The meat I cooked came out well, but the cleaning was worse than anticipated. It was too much of a hassle to clean in all those spaces. I expected it to be much easier to clean. I sent it back.

5 out of 5 stars The best so far   May 21, 2008

This is my third electric grill and the best so far. I use it atleast once a week and the food always comes out right. I like the fact that it has a drip tray that accumulates all the fat and that it comes with a lid.

Based on all the good reviews, I ordered the product and was very disappointed at the results, which were just the opposite of all the good reviews. The water in the botton tray tends to boil rather create a grilled food. Further, it is hard to clean. I returned the product at a loss because of the shipping cost incurred. I purchased a skillet with ridges and an easy clean surface. Now I have the excellent results written about in the good reviews. I suggest you do the same and you will not only be happy but save money too!

I bought this grill to replace one I had recieved years ago. This grill is awesome and is used on a weekly basis. It is easy to use and clean and has grilled everything I have thrown at it to perfection. It is very easy to clean, heats very quickly and works very good for a grill in and apartment where grills on the patio are forbidden due to fire safety.
I would recommend this too anyone wanting to grill anything their hearts desire.

4 out of 5 stars Good indoor grill but certainly not smokeless   April 1, 2008

It is silly to tag any of these products as smokeless, NOT! In any case if you can do it by a window or you have a kitchen exhaust that takes the smoke/air ourside the home be near it. Otherwise living in an apartment with no outdoor space it works quite well and is easy to clean.

I have cooked chicken, salmon, burgers and it makes great grill marks. I use the griddle side to toast or warm buns. I leave all things cook longer then when I cook everything just to make sure

I always spray the grill with "Grill cooking spray". As for cleaning not as awful as you'd think. heating it up again can help to loosen stuff and use a papertowel folded to wipe some of it off and I use simple dawn dish soap to cut the grease and work every nook and cranny to get any gunk out. It would be great to let it soak, however, with the element being near the handle it can't get wet so just be careful.

All in all it has worked great and made many good meals.
