4 out of 5 stars 4 and 1/2 stars   May 29, 2008

I bought this several months ago to supplement my 14-piece Cuisinart cookware set. I love it and use it often for cooking dishes in the oven, from Mahi-Mahi to macaroni and cheese.

A few disappointed reviewers have commented on the unevenness of the nonstick coating. I have never had this problem with Cuisinart, but agree that the company should replace any bad-apple, defective items immediately. You deserve a chance to enjoy these pans....

Mine has been super easy to clean (including getting melted cheese off the interior rivets) and I've experienced no scratching, flaking or bubbling of the Quantanium surface. None of my pans has warped, lost shape or anything similar. They look, feel and perform as solid, sophisticated cookware.

The pan is large (12" across, worth noting if you use an electric coil stove top) and slightly shallow; ideally, I'd like the pan to be one inch smaller in diameter and one inch deeper. But it works great and I'd recommend to anyone.

5 out of 5 stars Perfect Size-Love it!   April 27, 2008

I was looking for a nice 12 inch nonstick pan for everyday use. This is the perfect size. I am pleased with the weight and performance of this pan. It goes handily from stovetop to oven for finishing. Liked it so much I purchased another one!

5 out of 5 stars Fantastic Pan for $20   April 27, 2008

I have three of these type pans and I love them. However, I sorta ruined the first one and then I decided to read the directions - the pans heat up so fast that you only need to keep them on a lower heat setting. I was using a "5" and I should have kept it on a "2" or "3." Just a little impatient and I didn't need to be.

5 out of 5 stars Excellent value on good all around pan...   April 15, 2008

Terrific product. A pan you could use just about every day. I cannot attest to durability, as we've just purchased, but this is a very nice, high quality pan.

2 out of 5 stars Has great potential; design flaws   April 8, 2008

This pan has such a perfect size and shape and non-stick quality (especially for the $19.00 price) that I wanted to give five stars. But there are important flaws. Right out of the box, I could see immediately that on one half of the interior, the non-stick coating was jagged and bumpy, like it wasn't painted on smoothly or someone had scratched it up. The other side was perfectly smooth. It immediately made me suspcious and wondering if I would be eating some of the non-stick coating chemical. This is a huge issue. The pan also is very thin and light. I wasn't expecting such a flimsy pan that boasted of hard anodized material. I would have been willing to pay more money for a heavier skillet. It's the flaking non-stick material that makes me worry. Otherwise, it's an ideal roomy shape, with tall sides so food won't spill over. The two handles make it easy to fit in the sink. The coating is very non-stick. The interior looks very smooth on the one side that isn't flaking. If they improved the quality control and make it more solid and heavy, even at a higher cost, this would be a great pan. Not sure I'll use this much because of the coating issue and any potential safety issues from that. It also seems too light weight for serious sauteeing. I have other heavy pans I use for that. I will go back to Calphalon pans; I've not had problems with the non-stick on Calphalon coming off.
