Best gift for my mother in law who cooks better than many chefs September 5, 2008 Path To Wisdom (USA) Best birthday gift for the woman in your life, who can cook. Price here is lower than stores. I should get one myself
Pasta Pot September 3, 2008 Megs0013 (Illinois, USA) This pot looks good and I love the fact that I don't have to break up my pasta to make it fit. I have had no problems with it and I enjoy using it.
GREAT PAN!!! August 10, 2008 J. Jimenez (El Paso, TX) I loved it!!! It's great for when you are cooking for a big family. It cleans good and it's great for pasta.
Wonderful Wonder Pot July 14, 2008 Celestine (Michigan, USA) I absolutely love this pot. I think the oval shape is so brilliant and I can think of so many other dishes I can make rather than just boiling pasta alone. The stews, chicken noodle soup etc come out so beautifully and I used this to substitute for a dutch oven to cook beef stew and it came out so perfect. It is so roomy as well and I can actually throw much more veggies in there to any type of dish than I normally would. I am by all means not a chef but this pot is only the beginning of many many more wonderful dishes to come. I highly recommend this great pot. :-)
Excellent pot has many uses July 3, 2008 BL (Medford, OR USA) I bought this pot after checking it out at a local department store to see if I liked the finish, weight, etc. I've had it for several weeks now and have used it to cook pasta, a large pot of soup, chili, etc. It heats evenly and cleans up quickly. In short, I love it. I especially like the fact that I can cook long pasta without having to break it or wait around for it to soften and be completely submerged. I have a standard electric stove and I find that if sauteeing meat or vegetables for soup I need to move the food around from the sides to the middle of the pan for even cooking/browning, but that's simple enough and no trouble. I noticed that one person noted that the pan was "stinky" when she used it. The first time I ran water in it to wash before using, it smelled funny, but after washing there has been no odor at all. This pan is also perfectly balanced for pouring and is heavy enough to heat evenly without being too heavy for my hands and wrists, which have weakened from years of typing and beginning arthritis. And I love the silicone handles. All in all, I'm very pleased with this pan. Amazon had the best price (got it on sale for $59.99) and shipping was fast.
