Cusinart 8inch skillet June 20, 2008 Geraldine Shoemaker (Grand Rapids, Michigan United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I like this pan, but it does NOT fry eggs without any shortening, as the company suggests. I do need to add butter or margarine, or oil, otherwise the eggs stick, although the pan washes easily, and completely, with little effort.
Love this pan March 21, 2008 E. Gaskins (Silver Spring, MD) I ordered the 10 inch size of this pan and loved it so I also purchased the 8 inch size. It heats evenly is truly no-stick and looks great on the stove. The handle is attractive and easy to grip. It does not get hot. I love this brand and plan to buy more of the set.
Cuisinart Skillets November 4, 2007 T. L. Huth (Potomac, MD United States) We have purchased 2 of the 8, 10 and 12 inch skillets over the last 3 years and they are the best skillets we have ever had.
Im having an affair! October 2, 2007 Falc (Southwest U.S.) I'm having an affair. My spouse knows, but doesn't mind. Oh, sure, there's a LITTLE jealousy, but I've gained permission, since both of us benefit from the affair. Since I got this pan, I've been cooking just for the heck of it! Cleanup? WHAT clean-up? Everything slides right on out and off, even if I get sloppy and burn something. I will never have a lesser pan again!
"Made in China "- phobic ! September 6, 2007 "Made in China"-phobic (Miami Beach,Florida) 6 out of 23 found this review helpful
"Made in China", need more be said? Just got this today and I'm sending this back to Amazon. I'm afraid to use it, nothing in product description noted the "Made in China" label. Has not been 'recalled'...yet... "News of unsafe products infiltrating the American marketplace is becoming all too familiar," said Representative Edward Markey, a Massachusetts Democrat. "It's clear that our consumer-product safety net has a hole in it the size of China.'' I don't want to find out 'too late' what has flaked off into my food.
