LOVE IT!!! July 11, 2006 Kelly Moses (Misawa Air Base, Misawa Japan) 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
I got this set for Christmas - and after 7 months - it looks brand new - after plenty of use. I would HIGHLY recommend this great set of cookware.
Emeril's extras make cooking more enjoyable June 25, 2006 Bookworm Girl (Phoenix, AZ USA) 13 out of 13 found this review helpful
This cookware is easy to use and even easier to clean. It's also stylish enough for display. It is manufactured by All-Clad which is one of the top companies for quality and performance. I especially like the extras that Emeril added to his signature line. The thumb indentations on the handles make the pans easy to lift. The lip around the edges allow easy pouring without spilling down the side. The glass-lids make it easy to see how your food is cooking without having to open the lid and let heat escape. The second handle on the saute pan was a nice surprise. The outside coating is scratch-resistant. The set is light-weight, and the handles stay fairly cool. I am not a gourmet cook, although I would like to expand my skills using this set. I am your average, everyday cook - a working wife who prefers no-fuss meals after a long day at work. So far I have used my set for stir-fry, pan-fry, eggs and pancakes. I can report consistent browning all-over and no burnt-on mess to clean-up. Even my husband noticed how much better my cooking tastes now!
Poor browning compared to higher-quality pan May 12, 2006 G. Oden (Central Texas) 0 out of 13 found this review helpful
Adequate pan with lackluster browning. I prefer my All-Clad.

So far I am very happy with the Emerilware that I purchased, I have had no problems with it.
Looking for a good set of pots and pans? December 27, 2005 Barbara Miller (Minnesota) 84 out of 85 found this review helpful
I have been a chef in the restaurant business. I can tell you that what we use in the business are not Emeril or Wolfgang Puck. We used commercial pots and pans which were unattractive but highly functional and made to withstand high heat and abuse. At home I have a set of Emeril cookware and a set of Wolfgang Puck cookware that were given as gifts and I love them both. I read the reviews that some people who call themselves gourmet cooks write about them.... that food is always sticking, the lid handles get hot and they develop stains! Really! First of all...the food doesn't stick if you learn how to use the pots and pans! If you can't get the hang of it you should go to a te-fal set. The lids WILL get hot, that's what hot pads are for! They will develop stains... you cook in them. If you want to display them to your company, that is what cleaners are for. Personally, I live to cook, I don't live for my cookware and even feel that a worn out pan is the sign of a good chef. I also own all-clad and calphalon pieces. Unless you are rich and just have to have them... why? I never have food stick to either set, you just have to know and pay attention to what you are doing. Emeril and Wolfgang Puck sets are designed with the home cook in mind. They are well constructed, heat evenly and I have even had the fry and saute pans in the oven to better than 400 degrees without a problem, they saute, de-glaze and clean up like a breeze... what else could you ask for? Emeril cookware is made by the all-clad company and I can tell you I wouldn't trade mine for another set...why? They have lasted me forever, I have never had a problem with either set and if all you are going to be doing is some "gourmet cooking" at home, you can't beat these two sets! In comparison to my all-clad... of course the all-clad is top of the line in construction, but so is the price! I really can't say that the food turns out any better... it just feels better in a very expensive all-clad pan! I would highly recommend either of these sets to any home "gourmet cook"! And... if you can learn to cook without the non-stick finish which is healthier for you anyway, you will never have to replace your cookware, ever!
