good value!! March 16, 2004 I just received my set today, it's great! The quality is very good. I would not hesitate to purchase another Faberware product. I also got the Faberware tea kettle, again excellent quality. For the money you can't go wrong.
All peices smaller than average set's peices March 2, 2004 A. Engel (Woodinville, WA United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I just received these today, to replace a set (different brand, similar make) I got 1.5 years ago. The set I'm replacing had the same # of peices only they are the "typical" size you receive when you buy a set like this. When I first saw the size of all the peices in this set I was shocked. I didn't compare the sizes of each peice in each set before I ordered the Faberware and I wish I did because I think I'll be sending this set back. What am I going to use a one quart sauce pan for? Or a 7" skillet? They only things I can think of is warming a cup of milk in the first and scrambling ONE egg in the latter. The quality seems durable, so I'd only recommend this item if you're looking for peices in a set sized this small.
Good Value, not the best but good for the $$$ December 21, 2003 Bonifacio (San Jose, CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've had this set for about 1.5yrs now, originally bought here from Amazon. Overall I'm quite pleased with the set, the pans are showing wear and tear but they've given me good use. The pan that shows the worst wear is the 10" frying pan, its been replaced by my Analon as my main frying pan but it gave me a good 6 months of good service before I put it in semi-retirement. The other pans are still good to go and are my primary pans still.
A great set December 8, 2003 M. D. Shaw (Melbourne, FL United States) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I needed to replace some nonstick pans. I have a Farberware classic set that I really like but they are not nonstick. I bought this set based on reviews here and the price. I love the glass lids that I can use with other pots as well. After five months these are the pots and pans I use more than any others. They are thick aluminum, cook evenly, heat up quickly, fit my electric coil burners perfectly, and have a good weight with riveted handles. They are so easy to clean I rarely use the dishwasher. I am completely satisfied with my purchase. I hope I can get this set again in a few years since I will wear them out with constant use.
Great Quality Sets, BUT.......(LOOK BEFORE YOU ORDER!) December 7, 2003 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
We got this set as a great bargain here at Amazon.com. The qulity is great! Easy to clean and durable even after one year of use. The quality itself is much more beyong my expectation!! BUT.....I just discovered that the "10-inch deep skillet" is actually 9.5 inches. Maybe this is the reason they are on sale, but I think they should either change the statement or give a "real" 10-inch deep skillet.
