Evertyhing sticks to basket August 9, 2007 Sara Jacobs (Pass Christian, MS United States) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
Purchased this little fryer for seafood frying. Have tried multiple batters and they all stick like concrete to the basket. Called Cuisineart and they said that you need to use their recipe for batter. Have already tried that and it still sticks. No difference in oils. The fryer is flawed. It does not get hot enough. Save your money!
MAD DOG June 29, 2007 Richard L. Morrison 6 out of 12 found this review helpful
THIS IS JUNK IT'S GREAT IF YOU WANT TO BOIL EGGS. I PUT ONE CORN DOG IN FRYER AND THE TEMPITURE DROPS AND IT JUST SITS THERE IN OIL. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND BUY A FRY BABY. BUT I DID LOVE THE CONCEPT OF THE SIZE AND LOOKS. AMAZON YOU NEED TO TAKE THIS OFF OF YOUR SHELF, BEFORE YOU LOSE MORE CUSTOMER.
great appliance only one problem... May 20, 2007 Patricia Callejas (Miami, Fl United States) 13 out of 13 found this review helpful
Great appliance! practical. One problem... due to the heat, the temperature knob selector is plastic made, burns fast and it is not replaceable. At least I haven't been able to find it!
Great little fryer May 7, 2007 Anita Burns (Corona, CA USA) 8 out of 9 found this review helpful
I really like this fryer. Although small, it is just right for the little bit of deep frying I do. It takes less oil than a regular fryer and it does not take up a lot of counter space. It fried my Zucchini perfectly, without smelling up the kitchen. I used peanut oil and it worked beautifully.
Cuisinart Compact Deep Fryer March 15, 2007 Jack Stephan (Little River SC United States) 15 out of 16 found this review helpful
Fryer is perfect for two people, who are preparing more than one side dish. Fryer heats quick and cooks well. Make sure that you do no overload the fryer---food will not cook evenly even with additional time. Oil does not heat at maximum if basket is left in the fryer.
