I bought this vacuum, it came with 3 bags, and I ordered the bag kit (asin: B0002YSDHQ) from Small Appliance via Amazon because I was a little concerned based on a couple of these reviews. The bags in the kit are identical to the ones that came with the vacuum. There's no problem whatsoever getting replacement bags.
This is an awesome vacuum, with loads of power and small enough to store anywhere -- highly recommend it, especially for those of you who live in a city apartment where space is at a premium. If I have any probs with it, I'll write another review; if you don't see anything further, know that my place is clean and I'm loving this sweet vacuum! Pick one up already!

Something didn't seem quite right about the inavailability of replacement bags. The DeLonghi website was showing this model as a current one so I took a chance and ordered replacement bags from their website and then ordered the vacuum from Amazon.com.
I just received the replacement bags and the carbon filters I ordered and my vacuum (being shipped as I write this)hasn't even arrived!!!
This seems like a great deal. Don't be put off buy reviews that claim you can't get the filters.

. . . but I did locate the bags for this model. I am not sure why some people say they are hard to find. Maybe they were, but they seem to be available for about $10. Hope the information helps. Here's the link below --->

I agree with all other reviews. The vacuum is great, but if I had known that the replacement bags are impossible to get, I NEVER would have purchased it.

This vacuum is nicely designed and works well. Too bad that the vacuum bags are not available in the U.S. I have had them on order from AllergyBeGone and Delonghi-Sales since December, and they have no ETA. Shame on Delonghi, and shame on Amazon for selling an item that cannot be used.
