5 out of 5 stars A Winner   November 29, 2007

My wife got me one a year ago and I am still using it regularly. it is easy to use, easy to clean-up and makes great coffee. While the unit is expensive, it beats anything else I have tried. Plus, at $0.50 per capsule, it should pay for its self within a year or so if you have a latte-a-day Starbucks habit. :)

Works as advertised and is superb. Very pleased with it. Instructions are not as clear as they could be.

5 out of 5 stars Changed my life   June 8, 2007

Love it. Love the coffee. Love the convenience. A little less plastic would be nice, and it sounds like the aliens from WAR OF THE WORLDS, but those are small quibbles. If you love European-style coffee/espresso but don't want be a home barrista constantly cleaning your machine, this is for you...

4 out of 5 stars Good fast espresso, mediocre steamer, unreliable.   April 16, 2007

This machine produces excellent tasting espresso quickly and easily. The pod system is easy to use, but you are limited to using nestle's pods: captive consumer. The steamer works OK, with some effort and is noisy. We had one breakdown in less than 6 months of normal household use. Nespresso fixed the machine and even sent us a loaner, but still, I expect much better reliability. This machine tarnishes the reputation of many other fine swiss machines. But we still love the machine for the taste and convenience.

No issues whatsoever with this new machine after about one month's use. Love the ease of use and cleanup. Highly recommend!
