Kitchenaide 9 cup processor January 6, 2008 Bodisaf (Seattle, WA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I originally purchased a 7 cup processor without doing much research on it. It only came with one reversible blade. I took that back and bought this one. It was marked down (by almost half) because the box had a mark on it. Big deal. The processor has been awesome. I have used both the main bowl for salsa and the mini bowl for stir fry. I couldn't be happier with this processor.
Kitchenaid Food Processor December 23, 2007 Wayne (Perry Georgia) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
We saw this 9-cup food processor in a Dept store for $168.00 (not including 7% sales tax). My wife saw some of the TV chefs using the prosessor, and they highly recommended it. I got it through Amazon for $30 less, no tax, and it was delivered FedEx to our front steps within 4 days of placing the order...a full week before it was supposed to be here. The machine is excellent, and works as advertised. This is a robust, well-built machine, and I expect it to last a lifetime.
Good ,Quite Machine for Home use. December 12, 2007 Mrs. A. Ocmand (New Orleans, La) Good Machine for home use. The bowl is a bit shallow so food may drip out of center. It chops well with just a few pluses.Doesn't liquidfy everything. I use it everyday. Easy to clean the motor is completely incased in it's housing.
Disappointed fan September 7, 2007 Susan M (Armstrong, IA) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I have long been a kitchen aid fan and am very disappointed in this processor. I have a relatively new machine with light use, but beyond warranty, and the large plastic bowl broke while chopping tomatoes. One minute it was fine, then a piece broke from the handle. Now the handle falls apart and I must hold it just so in order for the machine to work. I wouldn't call this durable. I have also been dissatisfied by the short center post that allows fluids to leak when the bowl contains just over an inch of food. Bad design! I regret having bought this appliance and do not recommend it.

I love that it has two different size bowls; however, if I mix anything pourable, it leaks out through the middle hole - not much capacity.
