4 out of 5 stars Is It Just Me? I can't get the sticks to stay in!   August 9, 2008
bhr (Bryn Mawr, PA USA)
First off - the idea of these is great. They are sturdy, compact, and a neat design that the boys love.

When I make popsicles out of juice or fruit, all is well. They do drip outside the holder at the bottom, even for the neatest eaters, so outside is the trick. But that's just fine.

My only challenge so far has been making ice cream pops. We make our own ice cream and I want to freeze it into popsicles. But I have not been able to get the ice cream to come out of the mold on the stick, no matter how long I leave it in the freezer. Any suggestions?

5 out of 5 stars Fantastic Value!   July 20, 2008

The rockets are marvelous and fun. The tray for the popsicles is sturdy enough and holds the plastic rockets firmly. I have made tons of popsicles and am so glad to make what I like and not have to pay ridiculous prices for the supermarket brands. Enjoy!!!

5 out of 5 stars Great Pop Molds!   July 16, 2008

I recently bought these for my son who is 2 yrs of age. I make the pops with yogurt and fruit and he loves them! They look really neat in the shape of rocket ships too!

5 out of 5 stars Best design!   June 24, 2008

The best design of any popsicle mold out there. As others have said, the durable tray for standing them up is easy to use and holds the filled pops upright. Being able to run the warm water necessary for popsicle removal on only ONE pop at a time is fabulous. No more watered down remaining pops! I've tried yogurt, kefir, juice, pureed fruit, pudding - all make wonderful, healthier and tastier treats! The sticks click onto the mold easily, and the entire set is dishwasher safe - dream set for parents!

2 out of 5 stars Rocket Pop Mess   June 22, 2008

Plastic mold is nice quality but the design of the handle piece make it a drippy mess midway through eating the popsicle. I always have to change my daughter's clothes because her shorts are a mess. Even using a bib, it's still not enough to catch the drips that melt and stay in the bottom lip of the blue handle piece. When your toddler lifts and tips the popsicle to suck on it, the melted contents in the handle piece drip out of the handle and onto your toddler. They're ok until the popsicle starts to melt. Then you need to refreeze it before the mess starts. Or try to get your toddler to hold a cup or small bowl under their chin while sucking away on the popsicle.
