It's a little bigger then the older model, but works great even on the smallest amount of food.

I used this chopper few times to make purees for my baby.. It does work really well.
The only downside of this chopper - it is little bit hard to dissasemble and hold. While your hands migh be wet,it is a struggle to take the top off and poor it into cup or plate. Other wise, it does pretty good job

I got the Krups Mini Chopper Speed Pro Plus to replace a Delonghi product; I loved my Delonghi because of the size and ease of use. It did require two hands because it was glass and it came with a rubber mat but it was still a challenge to keep it stationary during use. Then my Delongi blades got dull. I was able to sharpen them then one broke and when I tried to replace the blades I found out they did not make my model or its replacement parts anymore. So I had to find a new chopper.
After looking at several models comparing their features I wanted a chopper that is small for easy storage, easy to operate with one hand and can whip heavy cream. This was exactly what I was looking for a whipping disk for heavy cream was included (I expected to pay extra) and it is powerful enough to make mayonnaise. It chops like a dream and I can operate it with one hand; which is handy if my toddler tries to grab something off the counter while I am working.
It is easier to operate than my old Delonghi and I can get replacement parts. Great machine!
