I thought my husband was crazy when he asked if I had ever though about getting a panini machine. I figured we'd use it once and that would be the end of it. However, I've found that since it so easy and stores so nicely, we use it a lot more often that I thought.
It's easy to use and easy to clean...just wipe it with a damp cloth once you're done using it. I'm sure some of the more expensive versions with removable grill plates would have been nice, but I opted for a less expensive machine based on the thought that it was going to end up eternally on a shelf collecting dust.
If you're looking for a panini press that is easy to use, easy to clean, easy to store and fits in your budget...this is the one.

Panini maker is fantastic. I took it to work and make quick sandwiches for the employees. Toasts them in no time and easy clean up.

We've owned this press for about a year, and use it quite often. It's compact, easy to clean, and toasts/melts food quickly. The ease of using this appliance has prompted many a creative panino experiment, using ingredients not usually associated in the US with the little Italian sandwich.
Couldn't be happier with it.

I love this panini press. I've had it for 9 months and it's been great. All of sudden though, it stopped working. It just stopped-I didn't drop or wet the appliance. So disappointed. The only thing I don't really like is that it doesn't have an on/off button, but overall it does a great job and it heats up (when it worked) very quickly. Would definitely recommend.
