Thoroughly disappointed February 9, 2008 Harold F. Sheldon (Floral City, FL USA) When I received the Proctor Silex Juicer, I was anticipating being able to produce fresh juice from our orange and grapefruit trees. But right from the start I was disappointed. If I didn't put much pressure on the fruit, it worked fine. But, I didn't get much juice either. When I put on a little pressure to get the juice, the unit just stopped. This was one poor investment. I wouldn't recommend this item to anyone.
Great price, Great product December 3, 2007 M. L. McDonough (Port Saint Joe, FL) There are very few parts to clean or to break. I have lemon & lime trees in my backyard & have used this juicer quite a lot. It does the job quickly and easily.
COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY! November 1, 2007 Rashid Hille Well, you get what you pay for as the old saying goes. This piece of garbage is made so cheaply that, if you exert the correct amount of downward pressure to get the juice out of your citrus, the motor simply can't take it and stops working. Do not waste your money on this product. Mine is going in the garbage.
Don't Even Think About It September 22, 2007 March Hare (Brooklyn, NY USA) The motor stopped working on the second half of my first lime. This product is a complete waste of money, packaging and plastic. I knew from previous experience that Proctor Silex products are garbage straight out of the package, sadly the price lured me in and I paid the price. You don't have to , don't buy their products.
cheapo waste of time, money and plastic August 22, 2007 Mary Bishop (Las Cruces, NM USA) Broke the first time I used it, right in the middle of making lemon sherbet.
