Sure, it cuts things, but the blades don't have enough force behind them that it cuts into them and drags them around. No matter how little or how much I add to this, it doesn't cut all the way through items and sure doesn't chop. I would suggest a small food processor if you are looking at this item.

the "handy little chopper" works okay. It doesn't cut everything the same size. You end up with big pieces down to mush. We have a zyliss chopper that works much better.

I love this product. I already had one, and then I purchased several to give as gifts to my nieces and nephews who are getting married. (Plus one for my brother in law who watched me chop onion in it, and then wanted to go buy one right away.) It is easy to use, and easy to clean. Even though it only chops medium-small quantities at a time, it takes less time to dump and reload the chopper than it would to do it by hand, and it gets better results if you like things chopped fine. (And no danger to fingers.)

The vegetable chopper has become my favorite cooking utensil! It saves me so much time in the kitchen and chops into pieces that are smaller and more consistent than I can do on my own. It has become a lifesaver, I would highly recommend purchasing one!

I love this gadget! I keep it handy because I use it alot in my kitchen. It makes chopping easy instead of using knives.
