There are a lot of Cordless Electric Kettles out there now and they are all pretty basic. Issues to consider are size, reliability, speed of heating and style.The T-Fal Kettle is FAST, it boils water quickly and keeps it hot for a quite a while. It a large capacity kettle and is cordless. The base station has a cord that coils nicely into itself. This kettle is comparatively quite, has a nice clean modern style to it, and has been reliable so far. I have nothing but good things to say about this product.

I loved this kettle for everything from making tea to boiling water for cooking (it heats up faster than in a pan on the stove). But I've only had it for 6 months, and the switch in the base has already failed. I'll be trying the Braun next.
