Great Grill Pan for the Price! August 4, 2008 LowRain (Tobyhanna, PA United States) This grill pan heats evenly, doesn't warp, and produces lovely grill marks. Even though it does not have a flat bottom, it works very well on a ceramic cooktop.

KitchenAid Hard-Base Porcelain Aluminum Nonstick 11-Inch Round Deep Grill Pan, Red Surprisingly this was a great purchase for the price..... I have a very expensive set of cookware and this is BETTER than the frying pans that came with the set.
great pan October 10, 2007 mmc 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
this pan is a super addition to my cookware. a grill pan is SUPER important if you are cooking meat indoor. my steaks always looked grey and weird, but now they look tasty! and taste better! just sprinkle salt & pepper (and, for even more flavor, add some chopped garlic to each side of the steak) and it will be as good as if you had grilled it outdoors! and it leaves beautiful marks (especially if you don't move it a lot during cooking.) also, it is SO SO SO SO easy to clean, everything just wipes/rinses off. I have never had anything stick to this pan. a cast iron grill pan is also important, as the heat capacity of cast iron is better for things like cold hamburgers/steaks, but a nonstick pan is essential for delicate items like fish. also, you could not deglaze a cast iron pan (the acidity hurts the seasoning) so if you wanted to deglaze this pan is better. (although nothing sticks so there is no fond!)
fantastic little pan! September 14, 2007 Susan Svancarek (Seattle) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This pan is great for the price! Yes, it is a $20 pan but I have been using it for 2 weeks instead of my $$$$$ pans and am loving it. I am sure it won't last as long as the more expensive pans but you got to love this for $20. I am very impressed and happy with it and have success everytime I use it. Buy it!
