Heavy handle January 12, 2006 Abovealldonoharm (United States) 13 out of 13 found this review helpful
This is a nice product but the handle is heavy and sometimes it will flip over when you try to balance it on the pan.
Love it! October 21, 2004 R. Lee (Boston) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
So glad I bought this turner! It's very flexible and I can get under and flip my omelette/pancake beautifully. I love how I can now scrape the pan clean (as hard as I want) without leaving any scratches. It's very easy to clean too.
A real finger saver! September 6, 2004 Videoman (Colorado) 4 out of 7 found this review helpful
Before I bought this spatulah, I used to flip burgers over with my hands. As you can imagine... I burned my fingers a lot AND messed up my food. With this spatula, I can flip my burgers and pancakes over without burning my hands or messing up my food. It's plastic too, so it washes real easy. I just don't know how I ever grilled anything without this handy gadget. It's not very good for stiring though. I might need to buy a big spoon.
nice December 23, 2003 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Nice but because it is soft it is hard to use it to get things out of pans.
Well Designed & Practical December 27, 2002 R. A. Joslyn (South Miami, FL USA) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I really like this turner -- I get a lot of nice leverage and I appreciate the larger surface area to get under the food. The "neck" is a little softer than some, but that really helps get under the food without breaking it up, which is something that happens frequently with stiffer types. It also has a nice hefty handle, so you have more control because you really have something to grip. And of course, the virtually indestructible silicone surface is a dream to use and clean up -- nothing sticks to it, and the edges don't get "chewed" like nylon utensils (just remember: if your nylon utensils look chewed around the edges, you're EATING that stuff!). My husband and I love these so much, we have them in black and in red, AND we gave some in almond to my father-in-law for Christmas! I'll be interested to see how he likes them...
