I think this worked well- I did have to put it back in the microwave for more than the suggested cooking time but that may be personal preference :).

2 out of 5 stars Not as easy as it looks   September 17, 2007

I ordered the Bacon Wave hoping to be able to make quick Atkins-compliant breakfasts. However, I haven't had much luck and will likely go with a more traditional microwave bacon cooker. First, it's really hard to put the raw bacon in the rack with the skewers. The tray is not long enough to hold most normal-sized cuts of bacon, so you always end up with the ends on each side flopping over the end of the tray. This causes a problem because the ends all cook together, and you have to get a knife to cut them all apart. All in all, it takes only a few minutes more of active involvement in the bacon-cooking process to just fry it up the old fashioned way.

We have tried a number of bacon cookers, and this is the best that we have found. We have bought several as gifts for family and friends.
