nice little unit June 30, 2006 the wolverine (Long Island , NY) 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
a nice basic microwave for your countertop. does the job with a fair amount of room for food. a large pyrex bowl fits on the turntable comfortably, does popcorn, melts cheese, heats vegetables etc nicely. direction book not very good so you have to trial and error for your cook times until you get used to it. i find the timer to be a little off which was a bit puzzling at first, seems to run a little fast. i wouldnt use it to cook an entire dinner, but for defrosting, reheating, or quick cooking, a great unit. stainless finish looks nice although a bit utilitarian for my kitchen. worth the price
Absolutely amazing! June 27, 2006 Thanh Than (Massachusetts, USA) 7 out of 8 found this review helpful
This is definitely "the princess of the kitchen"!!!! It doesn't take much space, very convenient, and reliable. Highly recommended for college students living in small dorm rooms :-)
No complaints here - just a great product May 25, 2006 M. Blitzer (NYC, NY) 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
Although there's really nothing fancy or special about this microwave, I was surprised at how compact it is, given it's capacity, and, just as importantly, how quiet it is while operating. Visually, it's absoultely stunning - if you like the whole stainless look, this will fit right in. I think it's probably a little on the small side for family use, but then that'll be true of any .8cu ft. microwave. It's been great for heating plates of food evenly and quickly, and the automatic features work well in my experience. The controls are fairly straightforward and easy to use, and the owner's manual is written in a normal, comprehensible fashion. In short, if you're looking for a stainless countertop microwave in this size, at a reasaonable price ($75 or less), and from a reputable manufacturer, this is it. Period. Plenty of white and black ones out there, but no stainless. At the time that I wrote this (may '06) Nobody else makes one, and that is, hands down, the biggest selling point of this model.
Works well, looks good, nice and small February 3, 2006 kc (stamford, ct USA) 30 out of 30 found this review helpful
This unit is a winner! This replaced a larger microwave we had, and it's doing just as well in considerably less space. The interior is big enough for just about anything that we typically microwave -- width is big enough for a large dinner plate, and height is enough for most containers. The controls are intuitive and simple. Good looking design. Good price.
excellent October 26, 2005 randomlygenerated (California) 14 out of 15 found this review helpful
An excellent microwave oven that does what it is supposed to do. It looks very nice (the picture here doesn't do it justice), has good features, and was worth every penny.
