The 21 Quart Covered Canner is perfect for water bath canning, or for heating large quantities of food. It has been a great asset to our kitchen this year!

Love it! Perfect size to can 7 quarts tomatos or fruit. Easy lift basket gets cans out safely. Make sure you buy an additional canning tool set that comes with a magnetic lid lifter, the tongs to remove the hot jars from the canner, and a plastic stick to stir out bubbles before you place lid. (advice from Mom-aka:Professional Canner) I am an amateur at this so I took my time. Every jar sealed! Tried Walmarts, Target, and every local hardware to find a canner. Don't waste your time and gas $$$!! Order from the net. Actually far cheaper with free shipping than searching your 30 mile radius.

True Value sent us a defective product. I called and they said that they would send us a replacement immediately and to send the defective product. We sent the defective product back a month ago and have not gotten a repacement product. I will not buy anything else from Amazon if True Value is the supplier.

I only started canning this year and this canner is great. Although I use mostly pints this canner is large enough that I don't have to add water during the process. I bought a pint rack separately and it works great in this canner. I have a ceramic top stove and this canner heats up quickly--especially with the lid on.
