One GREAT Product November 19, 2007 Raul Clameza (Orange Country, CA) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
Sanyo hit a home run with this item! The keypad is easy to understand and program. The rice cooker is constructed well. The pots are good quality and heavy duty. Cleaning is simple too. I've tried it for rice and slow cooking. I like the fact that is comes with two cooking pots; you don't have the flavor transfer from the slow cooking to the rice (great idea).
Sanyo vs. Leading rice cookers November 15, 2007 Tyler Leiss (Iowa USA) 5 out of 13 found this review helpful
Sanyo was established in 1950 with their first products on the market in 1952-ish. The ECJ-HC100S offers features that leading 10 cup rice cooker don't offer. Their Manufacturing Corporation in the U.S was established in 1976 in Forrest City, Arkansas, allowing a perfect product made in the U.S. The computerized cooker offers precise pression in producing perfect rice everytime. It's features also allow you to do more than just rice. Soups, poultry, vegetables, and even tofu are all options that the HC100S can handle. Two cooking tempature options are featured and accessories included. If your looking for a rice cooker, go with Sanyo.
Great Buy! October 25, 2007 Don (Tucson, AZ) 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
Recently upgraded. Was happy with the last product from the same company. The first thing that struck me was how attractive this product is. Very high-tech looking and easy to use (after a couple reviews of the manual and some practice) it really has alot of functions you wouldn't expect on other rice cookers. The slow cooking function does a good job on soups too. Overall i'm very satisfied
