This was very stiff at first but after a few washings became soft like it should be. This is our main cover still and is lasting a long time.

Would totally recommend these sheets. They are thick without being heavy and very smooth even after a year or so now of constant use, and show almost no wear.

The price was right and they looked great on the bed when new, etc. They shrunk after the first wash and would not fit the bed properly--we therefore had to put them on a bed in a spare bedroom. It was that or toss them. Do not buy!

When I got these sheets and I slept on them the 1st few times I loved them... Until I washed them (on a regular washing machine, warm water setting). Small but very perceptible balls formed on the sheets and they were not soft anymore. I like that they're thick as I would expect of 1000 Thread-Count sheets, but the balls ruin them.

when you can get 1000 count cotton sheets at this price what can you say bad about them? nice wsubstantial weight, don't care that colors are limited because i'd rather an excellent bargain like this than "coordinating sheets"! so far they've held up wonderfully.
