Good value February 14, 2008 Momojojo (Santa Clara, CA United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
For less than $10 this alarm clock is a very good value. It does what it is suppose to except I found the product description a bit misleading. It indicates "titanium case" and I was hoping for at least some kind of thin metal coating but the unit is entirely plastic with silver spray paint. It also indicates that there is ascending alarm volume, something I was in search for when I purchased this alarm but that is also not true. The volume does not go from soft/quite to loud, the only thing that is ascending is the alarm frequency which goes from beep, pause, beep, to constant nonstop beep. The alarm is also very very loud and there is no option to adjust it. The blue light up feature is similar to those wall socket plug-in night light which emits a bluish green glow. The entire unit is made out of very cheap plastic and poorly put together, you can see gaps where the plastic pieces meet and places where the silver spray paint did not cover. Overall a very cheaply made clock that functions well at a very reasonable price.
Sharp LCD Blue Backlight Alarm Clock - Titanium February 8, 2008 tfc4 (Montgomery, TX) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This one neat alarm clock. It's easy to use, has an unbelievable alarm that would wake up a sleeping giant, easy to use light/snooze button, runs on two AA cells and fits easily into travel bag. And it's inexpensive, too.Sharp SPC317A LCD Blue Backlight Alarm Clock with Titanium Case (Black)

Great small with large readout clock and NO POWER CORD! January 9, 2008 FalconX (Arkansas, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this clock looking for a small size, large read out and without a power cord to wheel around. It's very easy to set both the alarm and the time, and the backlight works just great, once pushed it will go out in a few seconds on it's own. The alarm starts out at a medium volume and then switching over to a louder volume in a few seconds. A few seconds after it go's into the loud output, the alarm stops on it's own. You can hit the snooze while it's going and that works great to. I use it all about the house with two duracell coppertops in it and they last way longer then I thought they would. I bought this April 20, 2007 and have had no problems at all out of it that some other reviewers have reported. From my experience, I would most definitely buy another!
If an alarm does not work, does anyone hear it? January 3, 2008 Generic Reviewer (Washington, DC) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
The whole point of an alarm is to make an alarm sound consistently. This product sometimes does not make a sound at the set alarm time. Thus, useless.
