Ok it's expensive December 5, 2007 lefty frizzell (Norfolk, VA (right now)) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
For a piece of white plastic, it's expensive. But, if you are going to do a lot of grinding or making salsa, this trays for you! This thing works great for grinding hamburger or just about anything you need to grind a lot of. You just load the tray up, throw in what you need and grind away. This thing will leak liquids so it works best with solid stuff. It's a good buy and it works.
Great for sausage! November 1, 2007 T. Bukowski (PA- USA!!!) The extended tray works really well and reduces the need to replenish the product to be ground by at least 60%. It really should have came from Kitchenaide this way. The only downside is that it "clicks" and locks in via sliding it onto the existing grinder and can come de-tatched if force is applied in the wrong direction. All in all a "Must Have' if you have a grinder!
Expensive for a bit of plastic May 16, 2007 A. Cline 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I need this for the attatchments for my "KitchenAid" mixer, but it gets three stars mostly because of price, too expensive. It could be deeper and wider as well. Canning tomato juice and paste for a family of eight requires bigger. For such a powerful mixer, the attatchments are under-sized.
Does the job May 7, 2007 K. Lowther (Omaha, NE United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this along with the sausage stuffer attachment to use with the food grinder that I already had. It is easy to slide on to the grinder tray and helps with large batches of food going into the grinder/stuffer. It's not a must have, hence only four stars, but it does what it is supposed to do.

Very nice , as the tray of the grinder is not big enough.
