Step2 Garden Hopper Mobile Stool and Storage #5A0000 June 22, 2008 Ida B. Stennett (Hinton WV 25951) I am happy with the stool except I would like to have the storage compartment air tight so I could leave all my tools in it and store it outdoors.
Very sturdy June 15, 2008 HFK (Bangor, CA USA) I appreciate that this reasonably priced garden seat can support my extreme overweight, and allow me to roll to the next plant as well.
must have June 11, 2008 P. Fabricius I liked it so much I bought for my in-laws, makes gardening so much easier
Does the job--keeps my knees out of the dirt.... June 9, 2008 Cheyenne Ann (CHEYENNE, WY United States) I have a hard time kneeling in the dirt for extended time periods. Hard to get old, I guess. My mom had one of the little garden stools years ago. Don't know what happened to it, so I got this one. It does keep my knees off out of the dirt, but I was disappointed in a couple of things. It works great when weeding in grassy areas, but the tires just don't get traction on cement. I have a couple of flower beds in my front yard, where we have sidewalks. Can't use this thing there, as the cart just takes off from under me when it's on concrete. This happens when I lean forward. So this has become my backyard stool. It's easy for your handtools to fall out of the storage compartment. It's shallow, so my trimmers won't stay in it when I pick up the stool. Also, the seat doesn't lift up to place utensils in the compartment, so you have to put them in from the side, and that's just a tad awkward. On the positive side, the stool is lightweight--easy to move. It's like a lttle Tikes toy, cute.
garden seat June 5, 2008 April N. Hertenstein (Illinois) I purchased this product for my mom to use when she gardens. It is a very sturdy stool, and doubles as a great push toy for my 2 year old! He seems to enjoy the stool much more than his grandma!
