Would be better if crock weren't cracked! March 21, 2008 cooking enthusiast This seems like a great buy, and I'm hoping to try out the small bonus one soon, but my large crock has a crack in it! I'm hoping to resolve this without having to ship the whole darn package back.

Excellent slow cooker. I've used it several times for pot roast and corned beef. It cooks vegetables without making them mushy. Very pleased.
Sears has similar item under Kenmore brand... January 1, 2008 EMD (Bellingham, WA USA) 1 out of 6 found this review helpful
I was going to buy the Europro, but then found one at Sears with the same functions for only about $35. It is the Kenmore Model 100.68332 - a 7 quart programmable slow cooker. I read the owners manual for the Euro-Pro online and compared. The Kenmore crock functions great. I brought it home and filled it up with water and checked the temperature with a meat thermometer after one hour at each setting. At warm, maintains 120 degrees. Low is 140 degrees. Medium is 160 degrees. High is 180 degrees. You choose the heat setting, then the amount of time. After the time is up, it automatically switches to warm mode. If you use the default setting, High, then it will cook for 24 hours and switch to warm mode. One note is that you have to remember to press "Start" after you enter the amount of time. The only thing it is missing is an auto mode that would, for example, cook at High for 2 hours, then switch to Low for 8 hours, then switch to Warm. Also, I bought mine first online and picked it up at the store. There were some tiny flaws in the crock. So I took it back to the store and opened up four boxes before finding one that had a flawless finish on the crock. 7 quarts is pretty big for me. Wish they had a nice 5 quart round one with this functionality as I mainly use it for stocks and stews. I have used this so far four times and it has worked perfectly.
Best one I've had November 9, 2007 David Burrell (Sun Valley) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
After going through several slow cookers over the last 16 or so years, this one is the best. It cooks great without burning, cleans up easily, and the timer works correctly. The quality of manufacture is A plus, and it looks good on the counter top. Walk though any Thrift or Salvation Army store and you will normally find five to ten units of the other brand of slow cookers that I previously owned sitting on their shelves. I purchased this one from Amazon over two years ago and it has performed very well.
Euro-Pro slow cooker August 13, 2007 Alice Kauzlarich (Hebron, IL USA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have used this slow cooker approx. 3 times now and I have no complaints about it whatsoever, other than I have forgotten to hit the ON button. Ha! I will set the temperature and the time and forget to turn it on. How dumb is that!! Otherwise, it is a great cooker. I haven't used the small cooker that came with it yet.
