Crockpot for small family May 8, 2008 B. King (Pahrump, NV) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This compact crockpot takes little space and produces great meals. Using all leftovers however small and adding liquid and spices give a hot, satisfying meal. We love it. Any Hamilton Beach product has my vote anyhow.
good product March 28, 2008 F. Silvestrini (Columbus) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
it works well. So far I only cooked a roast beef and some lamb and they both were very tender and tasty. The only negative thing is the recipe book, which is too small: I needed to figure out by myself how to cook my stuff.
info to get broken knob replaced... March 13, 2008 MommyMew (NC United States) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
My knob broke the 2nd time I used it. Here is the manufacturer's website: http://www.hamiltonbeach.com I have listed the customer service numbers below. They said they would mail a new knob to me (no charge), but they were on back order and no indication as to when it would be received. You'll need model # and serial #, they are both located on the bottom of the unit. Hopefully, the knob has been improved upon. It's gonna be pretty annoying if I get the replacement knob and it is made from the same junk as the first one. Toll-Free Customer Service Numbers: USA: : 1-800-851-8900 (all products except microwaves and water dispensers) 1-800-488-5080 (microwaves and water dispensers only) Canada: 1-800-267-2826 (all products except microwaves and water dispensers)
Great Value January 20, 2008 GTatl25 (Atlanta, GA, USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
For under $25 this slow cooker has performed very well. The 4 qt is the perfect size for two people. I've had it for over three months now and use it about 1-3 times a week. The knob (which I've been gentle with) and crock pot non-stick lining have held up just fine. The lid stays sealed and my food always cooks evenly. There is no built-in timer or retractable cord on this model like the more expensive ones out there, but that has not been an issue for me. The oval shape is very practical and useful too. Lastly, I like that it is a stylish addition to my kitchen.
