Thus far I am really enjoying this mixer. I am not a gourmet chef- just your average joe in the kitchen. Thus far I have had great success making some dishes I never would have made if I had not purchased the product. Althugh refurbished, the mixer looks as good as new- at a fraction of the cost. This is a great long term investment that I would make again if I had the chance.

My reconditioned stand mixer arrived with a slightly dented and scratched stainless bowl,and slight blemishes on the unit itself, which is perhaps to be expected receiving a "used" item. The motor was sluggish, not really powering up as quickly as it should once the lever was engaged. The motor also sounds problematic when in use.

We've been wanting one of these for ages but the price (400.00) had been way too prohibitive, so to get this for less than half was a deal we could not pass up. It's a wonderful addition to our kitchen. It's beautiful and functional. So far we've made cookies and hamburger buns and it's unbelievable how easy this makes the whole baking process. I will actually bake more now.
