My daughter is an avid cook and just moved into her first apartment. She's grown up using my KitchenAid and, naturally, wanted one of her own. This is a great mixer. 475 watts means it has all the power she needs and the price was comparable to the cheaper KitchenAids with less power that were all over the place this Christmas. Thanks, Amazon, for helping me make my daughter's dream come true. (Yes, of course I gave it to her early so she could bake up cookies for Christmas day!)

I was not happy at all with the kitchenaid I purchased for my mother. The attachments were all scratched and cheap looking. I know it was reconditioned but I did not expect it to be in that bad of shape.

I gotta tell ya, this mixer is the best I have ever bought. It is so heavy duty, that I can whip out cookies in no time at all. Quite the time saver. There is absolutely nothing wrong with buying a reconditioned product from the manufacturer as you get the same warranty as if you were buying new. No blemishes as all on this unit except for few minor scratches on the bowl. I saved hundreds and got a better mixer for my money. Would recommend this product to anyone that loves to bake and needs the most reliable manufacturer of mixers available, Kitchenaide.
