We bought this toaster to replace a stylish Cuisinart Stainless toaster that was useless. We have the Pineapple yellow color. This toaster is simple, has wide openings to accommodate thick slices, english muffins or bagels. It is very easy to clean. After one year it stopped working. I contacted the Hamilton Beach customer service number that was listed in the manual. They sent me out a box, and replaced it immediately! I will continue to buy their fine quality of products. Especially because they stand behind that quality!

If you are looking for a really cool toaster--one with style as well as toasting capabilities, this is it. It has a retro-round slanted top (read other reviews about its slanted top, the photo may be misleading) is well built and has easy to use features. I especially like the cancel button to stop the toasting, rather than having to force the lever up manually. I had to keep my old toaster in a brownie pan to catch the crumbs that fell out of it, but this one has a bottom crumb tray that works just fine. Not just a toaster, an accent piece for my 1930s era kitchen.

I find this toaster a high end product. It has an unusual design shape, making it so much easier to insert the bread and remove it. I have a blue one. One of the few toasters that come in blue is also a plus for me. Feels like a good solid toaster, well built and does a good job of toasting bagels as well as toast....I am really happy with mine...

Although a bit pricey, this toaster is great! I love the stylish look and color (black). I am also pleased that the functions operate as described. Slots fit thick bagels and longer pieces of bread, both of which I use. This toaster is a winner!

I like this toaster a lot. It has a substantial feel to it. It stays put when you push the lever down, and the bread toasts relatively evenly. It's worth every cent.
