5 out of 5 stars Oster 6330 Inspire 4-Slice Toaster, Brushed Stainless Steel   February 25, 2008

A great toaster. Accepts thick or thin slices, bagels too.

I like the additional settings, ( bagel, frozen )

Browns the toast evenly, and the crumb tray is easy to empty.

Have been using for several months and the stainless steel finish still looks good.

Only downside: I realize that for safety reasons you only get a short electrical cord, but this one, at 28 inches, is just a little too short unless you have an outlet right by where you want to place the appliance.

1 out of 5 stars I hate it!!!   February 22, 2008

I had a small GE with all the same features the only problem was toasting large slices. I found this toaster and the price all though a little high was not unreasonable compared to others with similar options.

This toaster burns everything no matter what setting you put it on. My bagels and English Muffins come out half cooked but burned on the outer layer and I always have to hit the cancel button. If you must use it move it out from under your cabinets!!! The other bad thing is it will eat your Pop Tarts.

5 out of 5 stars perfect addition for an art deco kitchen   January 7, 2008

not only does this toaster have generous 4-slice capacity, but it looks fantastic with either retro- or art-deco designs.

1 out of 5 stars Don't buy this toaster!   December 31, 2007

We were given this toaster as a gift. Had we bought it ourselves, it would have quickly gone back to the store. We've had it about a month now, and it does toast, but never evenly. One side seems to have more heat strips than the other, so often one side of the toast/bagel/waffle, etc. is burnt while the other is lightly toasted. This is especially true when trying to toast four slices at once. When toasting two slices, you can position them to achieve a more even toast, but how annoying! I have tried to use the frozen button when toasting waffles and every time they either burn or come out soggy. The only button that works well on this thing is the CANCEL button!
