T-FAL Sandwich and Waffle make is a must have. January 14, 2008 Ed Woodson I bought this for my wife and I to use just before Christmas 2007. We've used it several time a week and every weekend since we got. Making Waffles with this machine is quick, easy and mess free. I'd highly recommend it to everyone.
I'm gaining weight from all the waffles! January 7, 2008 M. Fargo (San Francisco, CA) I live alone and cook for myself, so this is just a great little appliance that doesn't take up much room and changing the plates doubles the features. Mine came without any instructions (later T-Fal promptly sent me one), but I forged ahead and it really couldn't have been simpler...or better. Although I use a non-stick spray initially, it's never once stuck. Cleanup is made easier if you wipe overflow with a damp towel as it occurs. The pocket sandwich feature is terrific. This has been an affordable, worthwhile addition to my meal prep.
Versatile January 6, 2008 funda62 (Germany) This T-Fal Sandwich and Waffle Maker is wonderfully versatile making waffles for breakfast and hot sandwiches for lunch. My favorite sandwich combo is bbq chicken and swiss cheese on 12-grain bread. I only wish I could by a pannini plate set for it.
Great breakfast maker! October 29, 2007 Garry Burke 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Item as described. Great for waffles and sandwhich maker. Plates are easy to take out and can be washed in dishwasher.Nice. Good value for money.
Worked great at first, then broke after a few uses August 21, 2007 Mother Sunshine (Big Island, United States) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
The plus side to this product is that the plates remove. The downside is that it was defective and the plates didn't fit properly after a few uses. I had to manually put the sandwich plate on top for it to work and it still didn't cook evenly. The non-stick surface also lost its stick after a few uses. Next time I'll buy one that doesn't have removable plates.
